Join April for this slow-burn practice mirroring autumn’s rhythm — shedding what’s tight, settling into stillness. Long, heat-building holds start low and grounded, then open into expansive hip openers, backbends, and standing postures that build strength while creating space in body and breath. Capped off with a 15 minute extended savasana including sound bowls. Leave feeling anchored and ready to expand into a transitional season with purpose.
Rise and Shine: Intro to Inversions
Join Christina for an enlightening 2-hour Yoga Inversions Workshop designed specifically for beginners. This workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of inversions, emphasizing how these poses work uniquely within your body. Recognizing that everyone's bones and joints differ in size and flexibility, Christina will help you discover personalized techniques that suit your individual needs.
Dreamscapes: A Floating & Grounded Sound Journey
Slip into your coziest pajamas and unwind in Dreamscapes, a 60-minute immersive sound journey featuring gongs, electric cello, singing bowls, and other sacred instruments. Choose from a grounded soul space or a floating hammock as Ylonda guides you through breathwork, yoga nidra, and deeply restorative sound vibrations for total relaxation.

Labor Of Love
Labor of Love: A Gratitude-Fueled Flow is a special Labor Day yoga class honoring the energy and heart you bring into the world. Through intentional movement and breath, we’ll reflect on resilience, presence, and appreciation for all we carry and create. After class, enjoy a “cascara” or coffee husk tea from Arcadia Espresso and explore handmade pottery by local artist Billy Ritter. A celebration of movement, community, and restoration — come as you are and leave grounded and inspired.
YOGA PHILOSOPHY: Embodying the Sutras
This immersive three-session workshop guides yoga teachers through Books I and II of the Yoga Sutras, exploring key teachings on the mind, awareness, and the path of practice. Together, we’ll examine foundational sutras within their historical context and uncover how their wisdom can be applied both personally and professionally.
Through discussion, reflection, and experiential integration, participants will learn how to embody these teachings and skillfully weave them into their classes, deepening their presence, clarity, and impact as teachers.

We’re reading The Body Is Not an Apology by Sonya Renee Taylor, a powerful exploration of radical self-love, inviting us to challenge the systems and beliefs that disconnect us from our bodies. The workshop covers key social justice concepts, explores the sacred duty of social justice within yogic philosophies, and examines the efforts of historical and modern yoga change-makers. Through practical applications, attendees will develop tools to embody justice in their personal and professional lives, empowering them to become effective allies and change-makers within their communities.
Basics Workshop
Whether you're new to yoga or just want to refresh your practice. Join us for a workshop where you will explore standard poses, alignment, and vinyasa sequences. Led by one of our SY teachers, students will learn about basic anatomy along with safe and appropriate alignment to ensure they can get the most out of every pose. Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a water bottle and mat. If you do not have a mat, let us know and one will be provided. Let us take care of the rest!
