Beyond Nice: Raising Socially Courageous Kids

Raise socially courageous kids with practical strategies for fostering empathy, inclusion, and brave conversations at home.

A 2-Hour Workshop for Parents & Caregivers

Our children are growing up in a world where they will witness injustice, exclusion, and bias. The question isn't whether they'll encounter these moments—it's how they'll respond.

Raising Socially Courageous Kids is an interactive workshop led by Murr Mosley, mother, educator, and Elevate Together board member, alongside Ylonda Rosenthal-Greene, mother, founder of Soul Yoga, and founder of Elevate Together. Together, they bring their lived experiences as parents and their professional backgrounds in education, community building, and social justice to create a welcoming space for honest conversation, reflection, and practical learning.

Together, we'll explore how our own experiences shape the way we parent, learn practical tools for having age-appropriate conversations about race, identity, and inclusion, and practice responding to real-life situations our children may face at home, at school, and online.

This workshop isn't about having all the right answers. It's about building the confidence to start the conversations, model courage, and create a family culture where empathy, accountability, and justice become everyday practices.

Whether you're just beginning this journey or looking to deepen your family's commitment to raising socially courageous children, you'll leave with practical strategies, conversation starters, and a personalized action plan to continue the work at home.

Because the world doesn't just need kind kids. It needs courageous ones.
