Soul Yoga Blaze with Sarah Ezzie Haines
Finding Inspiration
You’re invited. Walk into Sarah’s Blaze class at Soul Yoga, roll out your mat, and feel an immediate sense of relief. Don’t get me wrong, you’re going to work.
You’re going to sweat. You’re going to fall, and you’re going to get back up.
Because – Yes, You Can.
For the next 60 minutes, whatever baggage you brought with you – check it. Leave that shit at the door. Sarah will give you plenty to focus on, an array of imagery to ground you — Your heart beats into the earth, and affirmations rooted in strength and support.
Be You. Be Present. Savor this Moment.
They’re used to push you in class, yes. But also to inspire you to live it off the mat. Everything in her class is intentional. With thoughtful sequencing and intuitive queuing, it’s like your body already knows the flow. You’ll feel comfortable, grounded, and honestly - you’ll kind of feel like a badass.
It’s like she’s welcoming you to your own life. You are stronger than you think.
Sarah’s nature is to bring people to a place of inspiration. And she knows that means something different to everyone.
It all feels so personal, like a poem she wrote just for you. Take what you need. Leave the rest.
It Is Personal.
Sarah is a domestic abuse survivor. She’s open about it — it doesn’t define her. At least not in the way one would think. It was a time in her life when she needed to find strength and courage. And when someone randomly said to her, “Life is not a dress rehearsal,” a seemingly simple phrase, yet profound in its weight. That was it – all she needed. That strength was already within her, she just needed the inspiration to let it out.
And with that, Yes, I Can — Sarah took her life back, while simultaneously becoming a single mom overnight.
It wasn’t easy, and every twist and turn of life’s journey, she chose to look at it as inspiration rather than obstacles. The value of the people who helped lift her up along the way, the villages, she calls them – can’t be quantified. Her gratitude is immense. They gave her the torch to run with. And that’s what she shares on the mat. Free your soul. Yes, You Can.
The layer of appreciation that she has for that part of her life is something she sits with frequently. It’s what drives her involvement with Providence House, an organization that is a village for others.
You can also feel that appreciation in her classes, which can be challenging - don’t get me wrong. But the real challenge is recognizing what your body, mind, and soul need.
Sometimes the most courageous thing you can do is know your boundaries. I can promise that you will leave her class feeling stronger and inspired. And no matter what, you’re going to want to leave that checked baggage behind.
