Mending the Heart | Yoga for Grief

Grief touches all of us in deeply personal ways, showing up as both emotional and physical. Whether your grief stems from the passing of a loved one, a change in life roles, illness, or another form, this 75-minute experience offers a space to honor and process through mindful movement, breathwork, and stillness. This workshop is an experiential opportunity to embody your grief, inviting you to explore how your emotions live in the body. We will use somatic practices to gently acknowledge where tension, heaviness, or numbness resides, and through compassionate movement and guided breathwork, you’ll create space for healing. In this class, you won’t need to find the words for your grief—let your body speak for you. With each breath, we will cultivate presence, softening into the discomfort and learning to sit with it. Together, we will move through gentle sequences designed to release stored emotions and tension, allowing you to process and carry your grief with greater awareness and self-compassion.This workshop is open to anyone navigating grief, whether recent or longstanding. No previous yoga experience is required, just the willingness to listen to your body and explore its connection to your inner world.Let this practice be a way to lean into your grief, not to fix or change it, but to honor it as part of the human experience.
