YOGA FOR KIDS
Ages: 6-12
At Soul Yoga, we believe even our youngest community members deserve space to move, connect, and explore stories that reflect the richness of the world around them. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce Elevate Together—a new kids-focused extension of our beloved Elevate: Books + Banter series.
Our very first Elevate Together event features a heart-centered kids yoga class inspired by the banned book Born Ready: The True Story of a Boy Named Penelope by Jodie Patterson. Designed for elementary-aged children, this class offers an empowering blend of movement and storytelling that fosters empathy, self-expression, and understanding.
After class, children are invited to choose from a variety of books to take home, generously provided by the Kids Book Bank.
Adults…Want to practice too? Parents taking the 9:30 AM all levels yoga class at Soul Yoga can register their child for Elevate Together for just $5.
Not taking class? You can still register your child for $10 but must remain in the building. Either way, it’s a beautiful opportunity for your child to move, grow, and learn alongside others.
This event is part of the Zinn Education Project’s 5th Annual Teach Truth Days of Action—a nationwide day of action dedicated to defending the right to teach and learn the full truth of our shared history.
